Andre Mitchell Ministries
Biography

Andre Mitchell was born on July 10, 1976 to Bishop H. Royce and Joyce Mitchell. He has two younger brothers and one older sister. He was raised in a Christian home and attended Heritage Hall Christian School for 14 years. In June of 1994, Andre Mitchell became the first African-American male to graduate that prestigious school known for its' academia.

Andre went on to attend Earlham College. While in college, he began to feel the call of God on his life. So after much prayer and counsel, Andre left school and decided to work alongside his father in ministry at Deliverance Temple. He started by filling in wherever he could, even if that meant cleaning toilets. Eventually, he found a home volunteering for the youth.

In November of 1997, Andre preached his first sermon. He has continued to preach ever since. He became engaged to Devon Brooks in January, 1999 and married her in March of 2000.  In 2001, Andre and Devon Mitchell became the official youth pastors of Deliverance Temple under the leadership of Bishop Mitchell.

In 2005, with the support of his loving wife Devon, Andre authored his first book, "Faith 101" and started what is now known as Andre Mitchell Ministries.  In 2009, Andre received the "Finest Under 40 Award" from the community for excellence in ministry. Then on July 10th 2011, his 35th birthday, Andre Mitchell and Lady Devon became the Sr. Pastors of Deliverance Temple.

They are the proud parents of two children, Dreylen Matthew Mitchell and Dylan James Mitchell. Currently, Devon is the CEO of "Little Gems" a neighborhood daycare, and together they work in the ministry and travel the globe sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
